Whitefriars Housing Group Ltd is a housing association managing in excess of 20,000 homes in Coventry. Constituted as a charitable industrial and provident society, it is Coventry's largest social landlord.
In December 2008 it became part of the West Mercia Housing Group, based in Bromsgrove, which includes Harden Housing Association, Kemble Housing and Nexus Housing, and manages homes across the West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Whitefriars Housing Group was established in September 2000 to receive 20,200 properties from Coventry City Council's housing department in 2000, of which 481 were hostel units. When first created, it consisted of three companies: Whitefriars Services Ltd., Whitefriars Homes North Ltd., and Whitefriars Homes South Ltd. These were amalgamated into Whitefriars Housing Group Ltd in May 2006.
CES was contracted to undertake the complete replacement of the panel board, serving communal lighting and power sockets. For and on behalf of Whitefriars Housing Group, we carried out the complete electrical installation of a new panel board (three phase), installation of distribution of three phase and single phase supplies, mains isolation, communal lighting including emergency backup installation of RCCD switched protected socket outlets.
All works were carried out in-line with the works specification and fully compliant with the current regulations. Works were completed on time with the site remaining tidy and clean on completion of each working day.
"Complete Electrical Solutions have worked on behalf of Whitefriars Housing Group since 2010. Works completed include electrical installation test and inspection, product installation and electrical design forecasting (lighting).
